Boston Terriers Pictures - Grooming

Boston Terriers are housedogs. They cannot bear the extremes of cold and heat. The shorthaired dog, the Boston Terrier does not shed much. A grooming session once a week is enough to maintain the dog in a good condition. It should be noted that most Boston Terriers like being brushed and combed. When your dog has a shedding season, it is advised to give it a hand massage to remove the shedding hair. Check the eyes and ears of your pet to make sure they are clean and free of infections. It can be necessary to clip some hairs within the ears. Keep your pup's nails clipped. A professional groomer will do the best job.

Boston Terriers Pictures - Housing

Consider whether your Boston Terrier will be kept indoors or outdoors. Your Boston Terrier should have a permanent place in your house. A basement or a garage could make a suitable home as well. A dog crate must be large enough to provide space for moving around.

A well-built house should be provided for the Boston Terrier, if you have decided to keep it outdoors. In order to be weather proof, the house should be made of insulated and waterproof material. Remember to change the bedding and clean the floor in your dog's house on a regular basis.

In both cases, a spacious fenced yard is a requirement. Boston Terriers need territory to run, play and roam free.
