Boston Terrier Doorstop
The classic boston terrier doorstop can be found through most dog gift sites and sometimes a breeder will have them available.
In the early days of the breed they were often referred to by various names, including Round-headed Bull and Bullet Heads. They were mostly used as fighting dogs participating in the bloody games of bull bating. They were good fighters but now they are pets and devoted companions.

This is truly an American breed being a down-sized version of the Bull-and-Terrier types that were so popular in the early days of our country. Breeds though to have had an influence in the development of this breed are: the American Pit Bull Terrier, Boxer, English Bull Terrier, French Bulldog and English Bulldog.
